Brief

Vive na Boa! is a responsive web platform designed to educate and support youth aged 10 to 18 living in at-risk environments. Developed for the non-profit organization Humanus, the platform takes the form of an engaging quiz-based pseudo-game that addresses sensitive topics such as drug use, sex, smoking, and alcohol. By encouraging reasonable decision-making through interactive gameplay, Vive na Boa provides a safe, educational, and approachable tool for fostering awareness and healthy behaviors among young individuals.

Our Strategy

This project was executed by the Summer Internship 2024 team, supported by Redlight, to create an improved version of an older Flash-based game. Our team carried out a complete product development process, from conceptual design to deployment, transforming the experience into a modern, responsive web platform. The game-like quiz mechanics were carefully crafted to resonate with the target age group, combining fun and educational value. Additionally, we developed robust tools for analyzing the players’ responses, enabling Humanus to gain insights into behavioral patterns and assess the impact of the platform on its target audience. We prioritized creating an engaging user interface while ensuring accessibility and sustainability through modern technologies.

The Results

Vive na Boa has emerged as a valuable resource for educating at-risk youth, replacing the outdated Flash-based game with a modern, interactive platform. The integration of analytics tools allows Humanus to better understand user interactions and measure the platform’s effectiveness in fostering positive behavioral change. Early feedback highlights the platform’s success in engaging its audience and sparking meaningful discussions about sensitive topics. Vive na Boa stands as a powerful, sustainable tool for Humanus to achieve its mission of guiding young individuals toward healthier and more informed choices.
